Audiobook Editing For Narrators - You asked, we did it

AUDIOBOOK EDITING, MIXING & MASTERING FOR NARRATORS

There are many narrators in our roster who have been asking if e-Audio offers editing, mixing and mastering for their audiobook recordings coming form outside of e-Audio Productions.

Up to now, we did the editing, mixing and mastering for the following:

1. Audiobooks the e-Audio projects where narrators send in raw punch n roll.

2. For e-Audio projects where authors self narrate their non fiction audiobooks

3. For authors that bring us raw recordings of their audiobooks recorded outside of e-Audio Productions projects.

We are now launching a new service to help narrators from our roster who don't quite yet have the knowledge, skills or time to edit, mix and master their audiobook recordings that are outside of the e-Audio projects. We know first hand the importance of this part of the production process but we also understand that everyone is on a budget so we have put together lower prices for narrators.

DISCOUNTED RATES We have set discounted rates for narrators as follows:

1. MASTERING ONLY - Audiobook mastering to the ACX requirements

PRICE PER FULL AUDIOBOOK

$55 per audiobook up to 20 files

$65per audiobook above 20 files

2. MIXING & MASTERING

Step 1 - Mixing to achieve clarity and warmth. We apply a carefully balanced mix with EQ, Saturation, Multiband Compression, Classic Compression etc - $25

Step 2 - Mastering to the ACX requirements

DETAILED EDITING MIXING AND MASTERING - For raw punch n roll files

RATE PFH - $60

Step 1 - Editing: We go through the recordings word by word to perform the following:

- Manual breath control

- Lip / Mouth sounds reduction

- Noise Reduction

- Pace / Flow improvement

- Removal of long pauses (keep no more than three seconds between chapter titles, sections and paragraphs.)

Step 1 - Mixing to achieve clarity and warmth. We apply a carefully balanced mix with EQ, Saturation, Multiband Compression, Classic Compression etc

Step 2 - Mastering to the ACX requirements

RATE PFH - $75

Step 1 - Editing: We go through the recordings word by word to perform the following:

- Removal of mistakes and repeats

- Manual breath control

- Lip / Mouth sounds reduction

- Noise Reduction

- Pace / Flow improvement

- Removal of long pauses (keep no more than three seconds between chapter titles, sections and paragraphs.)

Step 1 - Mixing to achieve clarity and warmth. We apply a carefully balanced mix with EQ, Saturation, Multiband Compression, Classic Compression etc
