MAIN CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Gavin is in his mid-30s, someone who has had a very difficult time in life with all kinds of physical maladies and psychological ailments, and so he's a little short-tempered, but by the time of the excerpted scene, he's feeling much stronger, and clearer of mind, but as it points out in the excerpt setup, in this scene he's in a mixed bag of emotions, having just found out the truth about something he had total faith in.
